December 13, 2008, 2 pm: Anita will be reading during the Manitoba Association of Playwrights Christmas 12-hour reading marathon fundraiser. Readings will take place at Aqua Books, 274 Garry St., Winnipeg, MB from 12 until 9 pm. A carolling procession to the Artspace Building in the heart of The Exchange District to follow, where readings will continue until midnight.

A Youth Writing Experience for Kids. "Aimed at kids age 12-15, Spell it Out! is meant to give young writers an chance to do what they love to do most, write and learn about writing. Our hope is that kids will meet other young writers and share their love of writing and their stories as well. Spell it Out! is the perfect opportunity for young writers to become part of the larger community of writers." Monday-Friday, 10am.-3pm. Racing for Diamonds, another thrilling Orca Young Reader for ages 7 to 12, will be launched at Winnipeg's Millennium Library.
