From Savourlife.ca:

The Koutouki Taverna in Edmonton has a reputation for delicious food and generous portions and now Saskatoon has the good fortune to encounter all that in a more traditional Greek atmosphere. Yianni Psalios owns and operates three Koutoukis in Edmonton and has partnered with Simon Papadopoulos from Saskatoon to bring new life into a great space. Koutouki Taverna in Saskatoon has been open for a couple of weeks now at 119 3rd Avenue South (244-4777). Now if you’re thinking that there’s something familiar about the name Yianni Psalios, it’s because he’s the patriarch behind The Family Restaurant on Food Network Canada. Lunches and dinners are served Monday to Friday and the restaurant opens later at 4 pm on Saturday and Sunday.

Manju Khandelwal

With great sadness we acknowledge the death of our classmate Manju Khandelwal , and her sister Chandra Khandelwal at the hands of terrorism on June 23, 1985, on board Air India Flight 182, and at Narita Airport, Tokyo, Japan.

From testimony of Manju and Chandra's brother, Deepak Khandelwal, during the Air India enquiry, September 25, 2006:

"Like Chandra, (Manju) had musical talent and played the clarinet. While
in high school, she told her parents of her interest in how plants and
humans grew and functioned. She decided in Grade 10 to become a
medical doctor and began to volunteer as a “candy striper”at a local
hospital. Manju had a remarkable academic record. She completed
high school in two years and pre-medicine in one and was admitted
to the College of Medicine at the University of Saskatchewan at 18. At
19, the year of the bombing, she was about to enter her second year
of medical school."
