Where? (locally, regionally, nationally)
Locally (Winnipeg), regionally (Manitoba), and nationally (anywhere in Canada). Travel, accommodations, and meals must be covered by hosts. In past, two or more schools have paired up to share costs, and this has worked well.
What kind of presentations do you like to give?
My presentations for middle grades are highly interactive, informative, and fun, often including props. All presentations include photos, either shown on 8 ½ X 11 cards for smaller groups, or as a slide show through laptop and projector.
What age groups?
Middle grades
Junior High
High school
Do you have a preferred venue for presentations? (school classroom, public library, bookstore, etc?)
I prefer a library or classroom for a cozier, more personal experience, but am also comfortable in a gymnasium or theatre-as long as audio visual aids are available and functioning.
